Project Explanation

Banning Dental Group is so much more than the average dentist and the interior needed to reflect that. Forward-thinking design to provide ‘superior’ service and appeal to the younger demographic.

Welcoming, low-stress design environment with a lounge-style atmosphere. Going to the dentist should be a pleasure and we intended to remove the stigma and associated stress from the experience.

A new type of dentistry requires a new type of design thinking! We first analysed the intended demographic and their expectations which shaped the design to attract an audience into an unusual dentist interior that is more like an upmarket hotel style lounge which is associated with a pleasant experience. We achieved innovative, branded design features such as the parametric shaped reception desk and merchandising furniture, while maintaining a calming ambience throughout all clinical spaces. The Design

Remarcable's Interior Featured on SONY for our revolutionary take on beauty & dentistry. This project was recognised for its 'instagrammable' and innovative interior and came to inspire London's top fashion photographer @kiprice. His fashion story shoot was presented at the London Fashion Week 2019, and now featured on the SONY official site.

Branding is important because not only is it what makes a memorable impression on consumers but it allows your customers and clients to know what to expect from your company. Having an outstanding exterior presence is what grabs people’s attention whilst walking past on the high street intriguing and enticing them to want to find out more. 

Creating a clear customer journey through design is of high importance due to its ability to affect on a subconscious level. A space needs to be effortless and easy, with no extra thought but yet just a sense of flow. This generates a positive and lasting customer experience.

Incorporating biophilic elements in clinical space design through frosted window effect and light shadows of plants

Design Features

Reimagining the standard clinical space requirements by incorporating biophilic elements through effective glass reflection and use of natural light to benefit staff's circadian rhythm.

A unique design thinking and one of the world’s first such structures to be backlit. The idea to use a parametric design was concluded by the desire to create an organic shape that evolved from the shape of a tooth and serves as a tangible representation of the brand’s main purpose and service. Subtle but yet elegant and minimalist.

Every space comes with its challenges and here we wanted to make the most of the space by adding new texture and a colour pop to show how design is a continuous progression, shaping something into an even more Remarcable space.
